I am Gradwaiting

Being a  student for 14 years is an experience that cannot be forgotten and will always remain in my heart. before I also experienced bullying one of the reason why is that maybe I'm not a fast learner enough to cope with the discussions and I'm always left behind maybe I'am a late bloomer but that does not stop me to keep on learning

Now that I'm already in College taking up Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration, I believe I can now cope up easily with other students comparing to my old grade 2 self. My experience before leaves me to understand people more because you can never tell what challenges these people are facing and most of all before you looked into others first you must look to your self and never judge people according to their looks but according into their deeds

Yesterday, February 24 2018 it was the most a waited day because its my Graduation pictorial
sadly the staff in the studio did not allow us to take photo inside the room except for the camera used by the studio ending taking photos in the balcony haha

One thing that I realized in my less than one month from college is that experiences that you have right ow it might be tough but I'm telling it is not constant it is just for a while maybe in the next days, weeks or month the problems you face right now will soon be gone and another challenges will come so heads up smile and be thankful for the life that God has given you instead of asking so much things  thanks him and give up your burdens into him.

6 tips on deciding what course to take in College

It took me so long before I posted related article to my last blog post but the important is I'm back! so maybe you're in high school right now and still can't decide what course to take or you're in College right now but still stuck and undecided or not sure if that course you take is really for you?

1. Know your talent and skills

When we are still kids during family gathering our Auntie or Uncles often wanted us to sing or dance after that we were given coins for our piggy banks or even when we're starting to grow up our parents might see what is our favorite things to do either into memorizing declamation speech, listening to music, imitating dancers on the T.V, loves to color and draw, writing short stories or poems, excel on Math compared to other students, into cooking or baking or even love to manipulate things or good at putting things together and for ourselves if I ask you? what is you hobbies? or what is your favorite thing to do during your past time? then stick to that Ideas and innovated more from it explore more from it I know in  high school in that age we're too young to decide what will be our profession till we reach 60 years old but we need to decide for ourselves and be aware for our decision that we've made

2. Exposure yourself to other things

Try not to stick into your daily routines start doing things that you didn't tried before something that you're shy of. Maybe you might join clubs or org. on your choice and not just joining because you're friends are into that org. but inside you're not into it, Be independent to expose yourself to other people alone in this way you can develop more personalities or things before that's in you but you don't know exist because you're always on the zone that you're comfortable start building your own foundation in college or in life you should know how to be independent because no one else will benefit from it but you

3. Write it on Journal

It's good that when you're in the stage of deciding what path to take in College it's good to write down your likes and dislikes anything even the simplest thing that you can think of and  your imagination and visualization 5 years from or even 10 years from now write it down (draw if you want) and bring it with you everywhere you go there's allot of pocket notebooks available in the market

4. Test available from you Guidance councilor

When We're about to graduate from high school there are allot of test that we took from our guidance councilor just to know where are we good at to logic, mathematical skill, oral communication and other things like it. There are test available online just give a try but don't really depend on the result that it gave it's just your guide whether you agree or not some may not be accurate but at least that test will give you ideas

5. Support from your friends and family

Above all you might also seek advice from your family and friends and again it's up to you if you accept their ideas or not the advises that you have keep that as part of you choices and write it on your journal, Listen to them and reflect if in that course you're able to relate your talent and skills

6. Background Check

If you already have the ideas what course to take make a background check if what universities are  offering that course, when is their entrance exam or how much will be the tuition and of course the adjustments that you have to do if you choose that university. Explore from that university their passing rate so for the scholarship programs

well it's up to you if you accept my ideas on deciding what course to take in College but I hope I did, I'm open for suggestions just comment below.

Till next time, BYE!

5 things that an incoming college freshman should know

 credits: kickofjoy.com

1.  always take down notes
when in high school the "Teacher" always remind us about the schedule of the exam, project, assignments, deadlines and everything but when in college reminding is not frequent as in high school so you must take down the deadlines or any important schedules so that you won't missed any single thing

2. Prepare your phone for Voice recording
in college some the professor rarely write something on the board (except for math related subjects) when they do either you can't understand the hand writing or the sequence of the writing is not organize. Commonly professor only dictate the information once and fast so while writing you should have a back up voice recorder where you could place it to the nearest chair from your prof

3. Be flexible and friendly
Not all freshies like you've met live in the city where the college school stood mostly they came from other cities, provinces, municipalitys or other places in short, they may not be familiar with the new city they live in but they move from on place to other just for college they left their families and friends from their native land just study in a respectable college school and university so you must understand them and lead them or either tour them to the city if you're happen to live longer that them in the city

4. Get involve in organizations or clubs
College is not only getting a degree but for knowing good quality of friends there are a lot of org. you could find in your campus don't be afraid to sign-up even if you're alone and you don't know even one member from the group learn to be independent and don't be shy in this way joining organization it's an opportunity for you to meet new  people with different bachelor's degree you can learn from this people a lot from the school issues (lol), past event, school policy  and everything you need to know, it's an opportunity for you because you're expose to the people you didn't know but have the same hobby or likes as you and in this way you're preparing your self to adjust to the environment of people when you enter the real world which is after college plus this people maybe can help you on your subjects just let them know

5. You should know what course you're taking up!
this is the most common problem as a incoming freshman still not so sure on the course they took maybe that's what you mom said to take up for college or your dad said in this course you'll  become rich after finding a job well after all you're the one who will study those lectures make assignments, projects and take exam it's not them imagine working the rest of your life on something that's not your interest for instance you're into art, drawing, colors and sketches but you took a course related to business industry you're not loving what you're doing but it's not too late you still have 1st sem to think about it and in 2nd sem it's your choice to shift or to still. Read a lot of articles about your course so you have a perception why are you studying for 4 to 5 years in college.

CHEERS! welcome to the college life
